हर -की-पौड़ी ( हरिद्वार ) में गंगा आरती
Uttarakhand’s Haridwar is famous for Har ki Pauri and it is Ganga Aarti. Ganga Aarti means worship of Ganga. Everyday morning and evening, Ganga Aarti is organized by Ganga Sabha in Har Ki Pauri. Morning and evening time for Aarti is according to sunset and sunrise. There are no entrance fees or fees for the ceremony.
The priest holds large braziers in her hands, the bells ring in the temples at the ghat and the mantras are chanting in the air. The place to sit is difficult at times. It is best to arrive at least an hour before sunset if you want to find a better location. It is a very fascinating experience to attend the Ganga Aarti.
